FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What age can my child start guitar lessons?
Avviare teaches both children and older beginners. The right starting point depends on hand size, attention span, and goals, so the trial lesson is the best place to assess readiness.
How long are guitar lessons?
Lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions, depending on the student’s age, level, and concentration. Most younger beginners start with 30 minutes.
Do we need to own a guitar before starting?
It helps to have access to a suitable instrument at home so progress is not limited to lesson time. If you are unsure what type or size to get, include that in the enquiry.
What styles do you teach?
Avviare's program is classically focused, with technique work that includes fingerstyle, strumming, and picking. The academy also notes suitable pathways for graded leisure-style guitar learning.
Do you teach other instruments?
Yes! Avviare currently teaches piano, guitar, violin, viola, and cello. If you’re interested in a different instrument, just select it from the dropdown in the enquiry form.
