In Their Words
“I could definitely see a noticeable improvement in [my daughter’s] knowledge of notes, and she appeared much more confident and engaged during the lesson. She responded well to guidance and genuinely enjoyed the session.”
“Our daughters are absolutely loving every lesson with their teachers. Both Conor [guitar] and Noriko [piano] are not only teaching but also mentoring — encouraging them not to give up when it gets difficult.”
“Teachers have all been terrific — usually postgrad students at the Conservatorium, so technically advanced but also relatable. The regular concerts are a great way for kids to develop their confidence.”
“The whole culture of the school is about celebrating student progress. There’s no sense of competition. It’s a very collaborative organisation with quality tuition. We feel very welcome.”

Meet your teachers
Classical guitar teacher
George has played, studied, and taught across three countries. He holds Master of Music degrees from both the Universitat der Kunste Berlin and the Sydney Conservatorium, won first place in the New Zealand Classical Guitar Competition, and has performed with ensembles including Lautten Compagney and Komische Oper Berlin. He’s also a specialist in early music (theorbo and baroque guitar) and has studied flamenco in Spain. After three years in Germany, he returned to Australia in 2025. In the studio, he’s warm and engaging — and he teaches across classical, pop, and rock styles, so he can meet your child wherever their interests lie.
What your child gets
One-to-one lessons paced to suit your child’s age, temperament, and goals. Whether they’re a complete beginner or working toward exams, the approach is personalised from the first lesson.
Technique, rhythm, musicality, and ear training are woven in from the start — so progress isn’t just visible, it’s durable. Children build skills they’ll carry for years.
Biannual concerts where you’ll see their progress come alive on stage. Parents consistently say these performances are when they see their child’s confidence truly emerge.
AMEB, ABRSM, and Trinity preparation for students who want structured progression — supported by workshops, masterclasses, and a culture that celebrates effort.
No commitment, no preparation needed. Your child will meet their teacher, try the instrument, and you'll both get a feel for whether Avviare is the right fit.
