“I cannot believe how much she has improved in 10 weeks. Her focus, her ability to read music, her rhythm — all improved significantly. I am watching cognitive development right before my very eyes. And she is enjoying herself — it is now a very special ritual that we look forward to all week.”

“My boy is 5 and Jacquelyn started his music journey with fun music games since age 4 ... If you are thinking about getting young children to learn music, definitely would recommend her. My girl started at age 6 with Frank — he’s very calm and supportive and she has been loving her lessons ever since.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What age can my child start piano lessons?
Children can start from around age four or five, depending on their readiness for focused one-to-one instruction. The free trial is the best way to assess — there’s no commitment, and the teacher will give you honest guidance on whether your child is ready.
How long is each piano lesson?
Avviare offers flexible lesson durations of 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on age, level, and goals.
Do we need a piano at home before starting?
Regular access to a keyboard or piano at home is strongly recommended so students can practise consistently. If you are unsure what to buy first, feel free to ask us and we can guide you.
Do you only teach classical piano?
Avviare's program is classically focused, with strong foundations in reading, rhythm, technique, and musical expression. That structure also supports students pursuing exams and broader musical goals.
Do you teach other instruments?
Yes! Avviare currently teaches piano, guitar, violin, viola, and cello. If you’re interested in a different instrument, just select it from the dropdown in the enquiry form.
